Shattered Innocence (Oil on canvas, 140 x 110 cm)

Artist's Statement

The painting reflects a family, in a township environment, who have uncovered the painful molestation of their child who has been raped over a period of time by the father. No man is above the law regardless of his position within the family, community or society; each one must pay the price for the actions they have taken. Our children must be protected at all times from all perpetrators.
