
The painting reflects a family, in a township environment, who have uncovered the painful molestation of their child who has been raped over a period of time by the father. No man is above the law regardless of his position within the family, community or society; each one must pay the price for the actions they have taken. Our children must be protected at all times from all perpetrators.
Born: Georgetown, Guyana, 1959. Lives and works in Thaba-Nchu, Free State. Received his Diploma in Fine Arts from the E.R. Burrowes School of Art, Guyana, in 1979 and a degree from the National School of Art in Havana, Cuba.
